Abstract

The number of poor people (people with per capita expenditure per month below the Poverty Line/GK) in Ngawi Regency in March 2024 reached 116.47 thousand people. This number decreased by around 4.83 thousand people, when compared to the conditions in March 2023 of 121.30 thousand people.

The percentage of poor people in Ngawi Regency also decreased from 14.40 percent in March 2023 to 13.81 percent in March 2024.

The Poverty Line in Ngawi Regency in March 2024 was IDR 445,865 per capita per month, an increase of around IDR 31,918 per capita per month or an increase of 7.71 percent when compared to the conditions in March 2023 of IDR 413,947.

The Poverty Depth Index (P1) of Ngawi Regency in March 2024 was 2.22 and decreased by 0.07 points compared to March 2023 which was 2.29. The Poverty Severity Index (P2) of Ngawi Regency in March 2024 was 0.61, an increase of 0.05 points compared to March 2023 which was 0.56.
