The working population is 477,840 people, an increase of nine thousand people from August 2020. Most of the working population has the main occupation in the agricultural sector, followed by the service sector, and the least is the manufacturing sector.
As many as 46.14 percent of the population 15 years and over who work have the latest education at the elementary level. While the working population who have a high school education level and above is 32.16 percent.
There are 71.91,000 people (10.5 percent of the working age population) affected by COVID-19. Consists of unemployment due to COVID-19 (approximately 1.5 thousand people), Non-Work Force (BAK) due to COVID-19 (3.7 thousand people), temporarily not working due to COVID-19 (4 thousand people), and working residents who experienced a reduction in working hours due to COVID-19 (62.62 thousand people).
